Live tail
Live tail in the app streams rows as Pulse receives them, before they’re written to storage. Choose Logs or Metrics, set a filter (service, minimum severity, text, attributes, or a metric name) and watch. Pause stops the screen from moving while rows keep arriving.
If rows arrive faster than your browser can take them, Pulse skips some and shows dropped N. Nothing is lost: everything is in Explore a moment later.
Live tail is a WebSocket at GET /api/v1/tail?signal=logs&q=<filter as JSON>. It only accepts connections from the Pulse web app (signed-in browser sessions), not from API keys.
